KARLAKAN

A naval campaign in three ages

KARLAKAN

sail . plunder . conquer

Begin with wooden hulls and iron nerve. End the voyage under the guns of the Bismarck. Thirty missions, three ages of naval warfare, one ship's log — on iPhone, iPad, and Android.

The three boss flagships at sea: the pirate dreadnought Karlakan with red skull sails, flanked by the steam battleship SMS Bayern and the grey battleship Bismarck under a storm.

Chart of the campaign

One route. Three ages.

Every ten missions, the age turns. Win the flagship duel at the end of an age and your own ship is refitted for the next — sails to steam, steam to steel.

The Age of Sail

Powder & Plunder

Missions 1–10

Trade broadsides one thundering wall of shot at a time. Turn your hull to bring the guns to bear, grapple a crippled rival, and send your pirates over the rail — wipe her crew and the ship, and her gold, are yours.

Boss: Karlakan, the dreadnought

Gameplay in the Age of Sail: a pirate ship trades cannon fire at sunset, framed by the red-sailed dreadnought Karlakan.

The Age of Steam

Iron & Fire

Missions 11–20

Your victory refit: armor plate, ten-gun artillery batteries, torpedoes, mines, and a boiler you can vent into a wall of scalding pressure. Ironclads and monitors shell you from the smoke of foundry cities.

Boss: SMS Bayern

Gameplay in the Age of Steam: an ironclad fleet battle at sunrise beside a smoking industrial harbor.

The Age of Diesel

Radar & Steel

Missions 21–30

Command a battleship whose turrets track, lead, and ripple-fire on a radar lock. Hunt U-boats with depth charges before their bow tubes find you. The route ends in a night storm, against the most famous battleship ever launched.

Boss: Bismarck

Gameplay in the Age of Diesel: a radar-locked battleship duel with Bismarck at night, in the rain.

Here ends the chart.

Campaign

Refit Between Battles

Bank plunder from every victory, then spend it in the shipyard — hull, sails, guns, crew — and stock power-ups from the Black Market. Lose a battle and you lose nothing: retry the mission with your full purse.

Arcade

The 45-Wave Gauntlet

One continuous run on a fresh ship, through all three ages. Scavenge upgrade crates and power-up buoys from the water as the waves scale — it ends only when you sink, or when Bismarck does.

Duel

Nearby Free-for-All

Two to four captains, phones in hand, over Bluetooth — no internet, no lobby servers. Pick an age and a loadout, best of five rounds, last hull afloat takes the round.

The duel

Fight your friends

Duels run device-to-device over Bluetooth. Hand a phone to a friend, stand in the same room, and open fire — it works on a boat, in a basement, or thirty thousand feet over the Atlantic.

A Bluetooth duel: two pirate ships exchange broadsides, framed by both captains' flagships.
